WHO'S ANDREA LLOSA?
Originally from Lima, Peru, Andrea Llosa has been designing independently since 2007, when she first established her brand. Since then, she has expanded to 6 different countries throughout South, Central, and North America, including the US.
Today, Andrea creates based on concepts - not trends - to bring style and versatility for all body types. Her most recent collection, Seasonless, epitomizes that approach. Get a sneak peek below ;)
Q&A WITH ALL: WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A FASHION DESIGNER?
“I’ve always felt great curiosity and interest in fashion design. Since I was very young, I've been using fashion as a way to express myself, but it never occurred to me that I could be a designer.
It was back when I worked with Marketing at a local Peruvian company that it dawned on me: from my office, I had a clear view of their fashion department and would catch myself watching them work - very intently. I think at some point, my curiosity became an aspiration, and I realized that what I really wanted was to be working with them.
I decided to switch careers and enrolled in a Fashion Design course in Barcelona. Today, I know I did the right thing: designing grew into an absolute passion - and it has not felt like work since."
